k-m-11905-000-55
K&M 11905 Orchestra Seat Sound Insulation Shield With Clamp

The K&M 11905 sound insulation element is designed for professional orchestral environments where controlling stage bleed is critical to musician performance and hearing health. The curved acrylic glass shield attaches via a dedicated clamp to individual backrest bars on orchestra seats, making it a practical solution for pit orchestras, chamber ensembles, and large ensemble configurations where musicians face sustained exposure to the output of the player seated directly behind them.

The prismatic V-block connector system allows independent adjustment of shield height, angle, and distance from the musician, enabling each player to dial in coverage without tools or assistance from production staff. The shield can be mounted on either face, concave or convex, giving players flexibility based on their seating arrangement and the directional nature of the instrument behind them. The steel stand combined with the acrylic glass panel delivers a rigid, stable assembly that holds position through the demands of rehearsals and performances without drift or repositioning.

For orchestral librarians, pit coordinators, and production managers sourcing seat-level acoustic management solutions, the 11905 provides a repeatable, instrument-neutral approach that does not alter the acoustic environment for the audience. It is a targeted engineering solution rather than a broadband absorber, preserving direct-sound clarity while reducing unwanted rear-source exposure for the seated musician.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0871/7382/4696/files/90501_K_M-11905-Orchestra-Seat-Sound-Insulation-Shield-With-Clamp_ALT01sqr.jpg?v=1790875042
