Engineered with a three-piece folding rod combination, zinc die-cast clamps, and triple steel tube legs with double cross braces, this stand is designed to support heavy fixture loads at significant heights with minimal sway or shift during operation.

Live production riggers and lighting technicians working in theaters, concert venues, and touring rigs will find this stand well suited to supporting LED par bars, moving heads, and other production fixtures via its 30 mm tube end with integrated M10 threaded bush, which accepts a wide range of compatible crossbars. The non-scratching locking screws allow infinitely variable height adjustment without damaging the stand's finish or the surfaces it contacts, while the two additional safety rings provide a secondary retention point for added peace of mind when operating at maximum extension. The folded length keeps the stand manageable for transport and storage in production cases alongside other staging hardware.

Compared to budget-grade aluminum alternatives, the K&M 24640.009.55 distinguishes itself through its all-steel construction, larger leg tubing, and topline quality classification, delivering a higher load rating and greater resistance to flex under dynamic load conditions typical in active production environments.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0871/7382/4696/files/40372_K_M-24640.009.55-Heavy-Duty-Lighting-Stand-For-Professional-Use_ALT01sqr.jpg?v=1790886128
