k-m-24730-000-55
K&M 24730 Wind-Up Tripod Speaker Stand With Dual Crank | Black

The K&M 24730 is built for live production engineers and rental companies who regularly hoist heavy loudspeakers to full working height. A hand crank with integrated push-button system and locking screw gives the operator complete authority over load movement, preventing the uncontrolled reverse motion that makes cheaper friction-lock stands a liability on a busy stage or install site. The three-piece folding tube design collapses to a manageable footprint for transport without sacrificing the structural rigidity that 40 kg loads demand.

A base height of 1,405 mm keeps the crank ergonomically positioned so a single technician can handle positioning without ladders or awkward postures. Steel extension tubes and zinc die-cast connecting parts address the durability requirements of repetitive touring and rental cycles, where stands are assembled and broken down hundreds of times per season. The 1,550 mm base diameter provides the footprint stability that elevated, heavy loads require in live sound environments.

Where standard crank stands offer a single-action lift, the dual crank mechanism on the 24730 distributes the lifting effort more efficiently across the full height range, reducing operator fatigue during multi-stand setups. This makes it a practical choice for front-of-house delay towers, side-fill elevations, and large-venue portable install work where structural confidence and repeatable performance are non-negotiable.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0871/7382/4696/files/137294_K_M-24730-Wind-Up-Tripod-Speaker-Stand-With-Dual-Crank-_-Black_ALT01sqr.jpg?v=1790886166
