k-m-24740-000-55
K&M 24740 Wind-Up Speaker Stand With Dual Crank Mechanism

The K&M 24740 wind-up stand is engineered for production and install teams that need to place heavy speakers and arrays at significant heights without the safety risks of conventional pin-style stands. The dual crank mechanism allows controlled raising and lowering under load, making single-operator deployment practical for touring and fixed installation alike. The integrated Auto Lock system prevents uncontrolled descent, adding a critical layer of protection when positioning loaded enclosures above audience areas.

The three-piece aluminum tube combination spans a height range that covers low-fill positions through full-flight PA applications, making the stand versatile across club installs, corporate AV, and live event productions. Zinc die-cast connecting parts and steel extension tubes contribute to structural integrity at maximum load. The tripod base with double cross-brace leg construction distributes weight effectively on uneven stage surfaces, and the 35mm diameter tube end accepts standard crossbar hardware for truss and array rigging accessories.

Where conventional crank stands rely on a single gear or friction collar, the 24740 uses two separate crank gears and a supplemental locking screw, giving engineers redundant security under dynamic load conditions. For any production workflow where a speaker stand failure represents a serious safety or equipment risk, the K&M 24740 delivers the mechanical reliability that professionals require.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0871/7382/4696/files/137296_K_M-24740-Wind-Up-Speaker-Stand-With-Dual-Crank-Mechanism_ALT01sqr.jpg?v=1790886201
