lectrosonics-m152sm5p-option
Lectrosonics M152/SM5P OPTION Omnidirectional Lavalier Mic for SM TX

The Lectrosonics M152/SM5P OPTION is built for audio professionals who need a reliable, low-noise lavalier solution with direct compatibility with Lectrosonics SM series transmitters. The TA5 5-pin plug and sleeve termination eliminates the need for adapters, making it a practical choice for broadcast journalists, ENG crews, theatrical sound designers, and corporate AV integrators who run Lectrosonics wireless systems.

At the core of this microphone is an omnidirectional capsule with heavily suppressed mechanical noise, which is critical in fast-paced production environments where handling and garment noise can compromise intelligibility. The frequency response spans the full audible range with a 2-3 dB presence lift in the upper octaves, adding clarity to speech without requiring post-processing. This design choice makes it particularly effective for interview, documentary, and live broadcast applications where natural-sounding voice capture is non-negotiable.

The M152 is intended for chest placement at the centerline of the talker, positioned as high as practical to maximize vocal pickup. In challenging outdoor conditions, it can be concealed beneath a collar or light garment to reduce wind interference. For engineers who demand a low-current, high-sensitivity capsule that integrates natively with their existing Lectrosonics SM transmitter infrastructure, this mic delivers without compromise.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0871/7382/4696/files/116745_Lectrosonics-M152_SM5P-OPTION-Omnidirectional-Lavalier-Mic-for-SM-TX_ALT01sqr.jpg?v=1791492284
