lectrosonics-wmvt500water
Lectrosonics WM Digital Hybrid Wireless Belt-Pack Transmitter | VT500 Water

The Lectrosonics WM belt-pack transmitter is designed for audio engineers and production teams who need dependable wireless performance in environments where moisture, dust, and debris are a constant concern. Theater productions, outdoor live events, broadcast remotes, and reality TV shoots all present conditions that compromise standard transmitters. The WM addresses this with O-ring sealed battery compartments and input jack, a compression sealed antenna port, and a gasket sealed control panel and back cover, making it a purpose-built tool for those scenarios rather than a general-purpose transmitter retrofitted with protective accessories.

For RF management, the WM offers selectable output power at 50, 100, or 250 mW, giving engineers the ability to trade range for battery life based on the demands of each production. Dual AA batteries extend operating time significantly compared to earlier watertight transmitter designs. Programmable compatibility modes allow the WM to pair with a wide variety of receivers, making it a practical upgrade or replacement option in mixed-brand RF systems without requiring a complete infrastructure overhaul.

The machined aluminum, corrosion resistant housing holds up under the physical rigors of daily use in touring and install environments. The backlit LCD with lockout option and larger membrane switches improve usability in low-light or high-pressure production contexts. Servo Bias input circuitry with selectable voltage provides flexibility when interfacing with a range of professional lavalier microphones, giving the talent coordinator and A2 precise control over how the transmitter interacts with the connected mic element.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0871/7382/4696/files/97442_Lectrosonics-WM-Digital-Hybrid-Wireless-Belt-Pack-Transmitter-_-VT500-Water_ALT01sqr.jpg?v=1791493232
