It operates on the 1.9 GHz DECT band and integrates directly with an RM-series access point and charging station, giving AV integrators a scalable platform for boardrooms, huddle spaces, and multi-zone meeting environments. The access point supports up to 16 simultaneous channels, and each microphone delivers approximately 20 hours of continuous operation on a single Li-ion charge, reducing battery management overhead during full-day events or critical sessions.

Dante network audio support over a single PoE+ cable simplifies infrastructure by consolidating power and audio transport onto the existing network. The Web UI Setup Wizard streamlines microphone pairing, audio routing, and system management without requiring specialized software or on-site configuration expertise. AES 256-bit encryption protects audio transmission, making the system appropriate for executive boardrooms and government or legal conferencing where privacy is mandatory. With a maximum coverage distance of 50 meters and omnidirectional 360-degree pickup, the RM-WOM suits open table configurations where consistent capture from any seat position is a priority.

For integrators evaluating wireless conferencing hardware, the RM-WOM fits within a broader RM-series ecosystem that includes gooseneck and cardioid boundary form factors, allowing a single access point infrastructure to serve mixed room types without redundant hardware investments.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0871/7382/4696/files/145069_Yamaha-RM-WOM-RM-Wireless-Omni-directional-Tabletop-Microphone_ALT01.jpg?v=1783541699
