Zoom’s G6 takes tones from many popular amps and combines them with new amp models, providing you the best of classic and new to create a tone palette uniquely yours. Impulse responses are incredibly varied with 70 pre-loaded IRs and space to add over 100 more. Distortion and Modulation effects bring a new option to tweak classic tones.
With room for 240 patches and 100 presets to build patches easily cycled through during a setlist, the G6 makes planning ahead easy. Each patch has room for up to 7 effects, making tons of possibilities. Additionally, 68 rhythm patterns in different genres and time signatures are built in to give you options to express the groove you’re feeling.
Use the G6’s four Play Modes to change the touchscreen and footswitch layout for quicker access to controls you need. Looper Mode builds layers to your sound with loops up to 2 hours on an SD/SDXC card (45-second loop max without SD card). Memory Mode helps organize patches, repurposing one of the footswitches to activate one of the 4 patches in each bank. Scroll through your banks and patches with the matching footswitch in Bank/Patch Mode. Access a visual representation of your pedal chain with Effect Board Mode.
Connections include a mono input, stereo outputs, mono FX loop, aux in, control in, and headphones out. You can also repurpose the G6 as a 2in/2out audio interface for Mac or PC with the USB port.
Tiny yet packed with possibilities, the G6 is a great travel companion. The G6’s 4.3” color touchscreen is a great size for mobile use, and menu controls and layout are user-friendly.
Pair with Guitar Lab software (via USB connection) to access even more amps, effects, and artist patches. The G6 can also be connected directly to Handy Guitar Lab app via Bluetooth and controlled wirelessly with the BTA-1 adaptor (sold separately).
