Zoom’s V3 vocal processor can be used in a variety of ways, acting as a voice coach and sound engineer all in one processor. A variety of effects in the V3 will bring a new dimension to your voice whether you’re streaming, recording, or in an online collab session.
Even the best vocalists need gear so their voice sounds as good on a recording as it does live. The V3 processor can be used to capture singing cleanly, only adjusting environmental factors like feedback and brightness to produce studio-quality vocals.
Sing harmony or backup vocals with yourself. The V3 can add up to two voices (up to 3-part harmonies) in major and minor keys. Doubling effects are perfect to get a fuller sound for unison singing.
The V3 processor can also be used for autotune-style adjustments or even fun vocal effects. There are 16 voice-changing effects available for performance enhancement and pitch correction. Effects such as Unison and Vocoder are especially popular for voice alteration in video game streaming, podcasts, and YouTube videos. The Formant Character button pairs with the parameter knob to tweak vocal traits without changing pitch.
All these functions are possible thanks to the V3’s high-quality preamp and a control knob to adjust vocals while you’re in the moment. The dedicated control knob makes studio-style control easily accessible, adjusting effects like reverb, delay, and compression. In addition to a professional preamp, the V3’s Enhance function works to maximize the performance of any mic you use.
Repurpose the V3 as an audio interface by connecting to your computer or mobile device via USB. For hands-free use, add the Zoom FS01 footswitch or FP02M pedal.
