JBL COMMERCIAL SERIES AMPLIFIERS: BUDGET-FRIENDLY & ECO-FRIENDLY

JBL’s CSA models are affordable and simple to configure, making them a great option for basic installations. HARMAN’s GreenEdge™ environmental initiative equips CSA to be energy-efficient, lending to even better budget-friendliness. Despite its smaller price tag, CSA still delivers reliable, superb amplification via its DriveCore chip.

Supporting 70V and 100V installations out of the box, CSA includes RJ45 connectors that make its models compatible with JBL’s CSR-V in-wall volume controls (sold separately). Meanwhile, a universal power supply allows every model to accept AC voltages from 100 to 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.

The “DC” of DCi stands for DriveCore® technology, which utilizes patented feedback and PWM circuits to deliver fast recovery on peak transients, accurate reproduction of low-level details, and precise tracking of low frequencies at all power levels. DCi also boasts a proprietary hybrid analog-digital circuit. Advanced capabilities and support for Dante Domain Manager (DDM) provide more options for installations with existing Dante networks.

    XLS DriveCore 2 Series

    With its distinguishing DriveCore™ chipset, these amplifiers deliver a robust feature set along with a sleek look. The XLS DriveCore 2 Series boasts an enlarged LCD display and advanced DSP capabilities for expanded control and bandpass filters on each channel. Increased lighting functionality enables you to turn off all LED indicators except clip and thermal, reducing visual distractions in dark venues. Other controls include a selectable input sensitivity (1.4Vrms and .775Vrms) so you can drive the amp at full power, a remote power trigger, and a built-in PureBand™ Crossover System for optimized performance and control.

    Patented DriveCore technology allows XLS to drive 2400W at 4Ω bridged with tons of headroom for a clean, undistorted signal straight to your speakers. All models share identical specifications, differing only in output power levels. Choose from a variety of models to meet specific wattage or channel configuration requirements.

    The XLi series features RCA and XLR inputs, user-selectable input sensitivity of 0.755V or 1.4V, Speakon® and binding post outputs, stereo/parallel/bridge-mono mode, efficient forced-air cooling against air buildup, two level controls, power switch, power LED, and six LEDs which indicate signal presence, clip and fault for each channel. They’re designed to protect against shorts, no-load, on/off thumps, and radio-frequency interference.

Other features include Peakx Plus™ Limiters, which optimize system performance and deliver system protection by allowing full control over threshold, attack, and release; an enhanced Subharmonic Synth section that lets you control frequency, gain, and filter type for system-specific tuning; and three user-defined fan mode controls (normal, early, and full-speed) for matching fan performance to a specific application.
