Blinders & Strobe Lights

Craft the perfect energy for your audience by incorporating blinders and strobe lights into your visual setup!

Great for concerts, DJ performances, and other productions, blinders (also called “audience blinders”) are light fixtures that are aimed toward your audience. Blinders are commonly installed in a set, creating a high-intensity burst of light that momentarily causes a blinding effect (hence the name). Originally used as video lighting, blinders are also useful in on-camera applications such as TV or film.

Strobe lighting is best known for its flashing effect, putting off incredibly bright bursts of light. Chain together multiple strobes to create a pulsing effect—perfect for syncing to music or molding an atmosphere. Change the tempo of the pulses to alter the strobe’s effect, depending on the energy you want to instill in your audience. Strobes are great for creating tension on stage or on film, as well as a unique “stop-motion” effect during action visuals. It can also be used to lend impact to music performances such as high-octane concerts or DJ performances.
