Fog Machines

A fog machine (or fog generator) emits a vapor with a similar visual effect as natural smoke or fog. The density of the vapor sometimes varies, with many fog machines emitting a thicker fog, while similar haze machines emit a comparatively thinner vapor.

Haze machines (also called haze generators or hazers) are particularly ideal for making light beams visible and accentuating beam movements during light shows, concerts, stage effects, or DJ performances. Haze machines typically emit just enough vapor to enhance lighting contrast, in comparison to fog machines which produce a more opaque vapor that inhibits visibility. Because they emit finer particles than fog machines, haze machines are less likely to set off fire alarms.
