More about Dante
Get high-performance sound like never before with Dante™, the innovative, Ethernet-compliant audio networking technology developed by Audinate. Dante uses CAT5 cables and standard networking components to distribute multiple audio streams, as well as integrated control data with sub-millisecond latency, providing sound system options that give you maximum flexibility and versatility to meet whatever demands arise. Dante is a next-generation solution to challenges often found in the industry of live sound, routing, and direct-to-computer recording applications.
The Allen & Heath Dante Networking Expansion Card
Use Allen & Heath’s Dante Networking Expansion Card to integrate your dLive, GLD, or iLive gear into other systems. This is a great tool for digital mic splitting, multi-track recording, and easy system scaling. This expansion card provides 64 channels of bi-directional audio at 48kHz.
Other Expansion Options
Using an M-DL-ADAPT interface, the Dante Networking Expansion Card can be fitted to any dLive I/O Port. The card also can be incorporated into a GLD mixer using its I/O Port, or into iLive series’ fixed format MixRacks (iDR-16, iDR-32, iDR-48, iDR-64) or expander (xDR-16), Port A/B in iLive modular MixRacks (iDR0, iDR10), and Port A of iLive modular surfaces when fitted with the new RAB-2 standard.
