Blackmagic Design’s DeckLink cards support embedded SDI audio for use with professional broadcast decks, monitors, projectors, and more. DeckLink products are often used for work on feature films, episodic TV shows, music videos, and commercials.
The DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G is a top of the line digital cinema capture card. A variety of connections support SD, HD, 2K, Ultra HD, DCI 4K, s-video, and composite formats. Experience accurate color with 8, 10 and 12-bit RGB, and 10-bit YUV.
A new mezzanine card design is added to this DeckLink model. This provides HDMI in and out on a second daughter card, and has sockets to add two optical fiber modules for Dual Link optical fiber SDI in and out. Add SMPTE compatible optical modules up to 12G-SDI speeds when you want to connect equipment at longer distances via optical fiber connections.
When used with DaVinci Resolve 11, simultaneous capture and playback support lets you capture direct from cameras, grade live video, and output the video to a monitor – all live and in real time. OEM developers enjoy the ability to customize system development with features including full frame genlock timing, closed captioning, automatic input detection support, improved CRC input checking, low latency, and direct GPU support. You can also write pixels directly into the card’s frame buffers or write your own custom drivers.
DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G is ideal for work on feature films, commercials, visual FX, and TV productions requiring high resolution, deep color, stereoscopic 3D and high frame support.
