Blackmagic Design’s DeckLink capture and playback cards are put to work in Hollywood feature films, episodic television programs, music videos, commercials, and other filming uses. Cards provide high-quality video and are compatible with Mac, Windows, and Linux-based workstations and servers. DeckLink cards provide a perfect postproduction solution, offering professional quality and working in tons of different video formats and resolutions.

High-quality connections on all DeckLink cards ensure pristine video and audio quality and are compatible with a host of professional SDI equipment. Use the DeckLink Quad HDMI Recorder to capture from four different HDMI sources in any combination of SD, HD, Ultra HD, 4K, even computer formats, all at once. The four independent HDMI 2.0b input connections allow the recorder to act like four separate customizable capture cards in one, perfect for software live switching, real-time computer game capture, streaming, and more.

Work in unparalleled video quality. DeckLink supports compressed video formats (such as ProRes and DNxHD), 10-bit uncompressed YUV, and 12-bit RGB video. Uncompressed video doesn’t suffer any loss of quality: all images are mathematically perfect pixel-for-pixel clones of the source without any generational loss. Sharper keying with green screens, cleaner compositions, superior color correction, and more are also available.

DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro X, Media Composer, and Premiere Pro are all supported, along with WDM support for Windows editing software. Multiple channels of analog and digital audio ensure excellent audio quality in post-production as well.

Designed for ease of use in postproduction, DeckLink cards capture directly into editing, effects, and broadcast design systems. You can also capture directly from cameras or live production switchers into a live streaming workflow; DeckLink supports common streaming software such as Flash Media Encoder, Wirecast, Livestream Producer, and Resolume Avenue 4.
