A small unit that’s packed with power, the ACTION-508A from DAS Audio’s ACTION-500 speaker series is an 8 inch, 2-way point source speaker. This system is specifically engineered to fit a wide range of applications, from fixed installation sound systems to portable PA. Lightweight and compact, the ACTION-508A is a versatile solution for touring, while its low-profile build makes it an easy fit into any size of studio or permanent stage setup.

Combining a 720 Wpeak Class D amplifier with an innovative 8” transducer (8GV) and the MI-34 compression driver (1.5 cm diameter), the ACTION-508A is capable of outstanding power efficiency, both in terms of power consumption and audio power (122 dB SPL). Its DAScontrol™ interface uses a high-range 24-bit DSP and rear LCD screen, giving you access to a selection of presets, EQ modes, delay, gain control, and signal source mix.

The ACTION-508A features a rotatable horn with 90º (horizontal coverage) x 60º (vertical coverage) dispersion. This allows the speaker to be used not only vertically but also rotated to a horizontal orientation to be used in a fixed installation, as a stage monitor, or even as a front fill.

A versatile solution for touring, the ACTION-508A is an ideal addition to any size of studio or permanent stage setup.
