The ACTION-M512A from DAS Audio is a 12", 2-way powered point source speaker that's an ideal solution for fixed installations and portable PA applications alike.

A moderately-sized unit that’s packed with power, the ACTION-M512A from DAS Audio’s ACTION-500 speaker series is a powered point source speaker. Designed primarily as a stage monitor, its rotatable horn with 80º x 50º allows you to use it as a PA system when propped up in a vertical orientation.

A versatile solution for touring, the ACTION-M512A is an ideal addition to any size of studio or permanent stage setup. It’s great for sound reinforcement in live performance venues, bands, DJs, and other performers, music playback, A/V systems, conferences, and presentation. It delivers particularly awesome audio quality to speech and vocals.

This speaker system combines a 12MI4 speaker for low frequencies and an M-34 compression driver for high frequencies. Along with its 1000 Wpeak Class D amplifier, this ensures the ACTION-M512A delivers consistent, high-quality sound no matter what your application. In addition, it includes a DAScontrol™ interface that utilizes a high-range 24-bit DSP, as well as a rear LCD screen that gives you access to a wide selection of presets, EQ modes, delay, gain control, and signal source mix.

The ACTION-M512A powered stage monitor is built with the same attention to detail and commitment to high-quality construction as the entirety of DAS Audio’s product line. All systems are developed to live up to their core philosophy of stringent quality standards in both the individual materials they use and the overall design. The entire ACTION-500 series uses birch plywood construction for a tight, natural, and warm sound. The ACTION-M512A boasts a frequency range of 63 Hz to 20 kHz, while it has a nominal impedance of 8 ohms.

Rounding out the ACTION-M512A’s features is a full range of connectivity, two balanced XLR inputs (for mic and line), an additional 3.5 mm mini-jack input, as well as a powerCON connection.
