The Focusrite RedNet D16R MkII 16x16 Digital Dante Interface is a 16-channel bi-directional interface for Dante® networks. Individual input and output channel level controls deliver precise adjustment of all levels with RedNet Control. Sound quality excels with sample rate conversion on every input channel, over 138 dB of dynamic range, and more features. Power supply and 2 EtherCON network connectors make the RedNet D16R MkII perfect for recording, post production, live sound, and broadcast.
Conveniently bridge between digital consoles, power amplifiers, and other AES3 audio equipment or Dante network with DB25 connectors that provide 16 channels of digital audio to and from the Dante audio network. Beyond the 16 inputs and 16 outputs are stereo AES3 I/O on XLR jacks. BNC wordclock input and output ports, and XLR input supporting DARS both allow this audio interface to synchronize with a wide variety of external sources and hardware.
Power supply and Ethernet redundancy on the RedNet D16R MkII deliver sound you can rely on with auto-switchover capability to continue operation in the event of failure. Trim faders allow for precise calibration and control over all levels with gain adjustment in 1 dB increments, and dim capabilities. AD/DA converters are top-of-the line to ensure steady recording and audio playback.
Software programs included with the RedNet D16R MkII provide high level capabilities during the audio engineering process. RedNet Control has many functions, even remote monitoring software from its powerful graphic user interface. Brainworx bx_console Focusrite is also included for further editing power.
Travel gets a little easier when the RedNet D16R MkII is part of your sound system. Rugged construction of the interface makes it roadworthy, and it only takes up 1 RU of rack space. All connectors lock and remain terminated even under stress, making this interface well-suited for repeated strike and setup.
