The DJS-1000 16-track dynamic sampler from Pioneer DJ is the ideal addition to any DJ setup, offering professional tools for taking your performance to the next level. Designed both for organizing presets ahead of time and for spontaneous mixes, the DJS-1000 boasts a user-friendly interface that features live sampling, accurate syncing, and more. With virtually limitless creative potential, the DJS-1000 is packed with intuitive functions that make it easy to tailor parameters to expedite the way you mix.

The 7-inch full-color LCD touch screen offers you instant access to one of three screens. The Home screen gives you an instant overview of the assigned samples, while the Sequence screen lets you see the sequence pattern that’s currently playing, and the Mixer screen allows you to adjust the volume of each track.

With the large, LED-backlit Performance Pads, you can preload samples to each rubber pad for freestyle drumming and sound layering. Velocity Mode allows you to control sample volume by hitting the keys harder or softer. Below these Performance Pads are 16 multicolored step input keys. Backlit with changing colors, these tactile keys give you at-a-glance updates on the sequence and loop information of each track. They also make it easy to establish a new groove or set a fresh tone.

Located alongside the Performance Pads you’ll find a touch strip that lets you use Pitch Bend to change the pitch. It also offers a Note Repeat option to play a drum roll. This touch strip’s parameters can be customized, giving you the flexibility to experiment with sound combinations and techniques.

Use the DJS-1000’s Pro DJ Link to connect the mixer to a CDJ or XDJ (sold separately), effectively scaling your setup to fit whatever space or venue you’re performing in. The Beat Sync function, a tempo slider, and a Nudge button allow you to modify the tempo and beat manually, giving you a turntable feel.
