The new high power high sensitivity 15" woofer is the result of the latest RCF experience in sub-bass transducers and compact subwoofer design and manufacturing. The band-pass configuration offers a significant acoustic impact resulting in a fast and controlled reproduction of the bass frequency range.
It is capable of a power of 1 kW RMS and able to deliver a MAX SPL in excess of 135 dB. The cabinet's shape is unobtrusive rectangular low profile to be used under sofa or under limited height stages; the cabinet is constructed of Baltic Birch plywood and finished in a very resistant, textured black paint. Rubber feet are also installed.

About Passive Speakers at Sound Productions
Enjoy full flexibility and customization with passive speakers from Sound Productions! All speakers need a sort of amplifier to function; while powered speakers come with amplifiers built-in, passive speakers need external gear to be connected, including external amplifiers or stereo receivers, speaker cables, and possibly an outboard crossover or other signal processing gear.
Personalization is the hallmark of passive speakers. Mix-and-match components to fit the highly-specific needs of any given project. Scale to fit a larger space or add surround sound as your audio needs change. Because there’s more space inside passive speaker housing, passive speakers can accommodate larger drivers, resulting in a more pristine, accurate sound reproduction where it’s needed most, such as concert halls, entertainment venues, or special events.
Passive speakers are ideal for when you need flexibility and customization options. Often this means professional applications, such as venues where the sound system needs to be scalable and versatile, or for audio projects that require the most accurate and reliable sound reproduction.
