UP 2162 is a device with 2 separated and independent 160W amplifiers, each having 2 audio inputs, of which one with priority function through a closing contact. Both the audio inputs are at ‘line’ level: for pre-amplified signals or music sources (e.g. CD players, tuners, etc.).The amplifier output is available either for low impedance loudspeakers (min. 4 O) or 100 – 70 V constant voltage line (for loudspeakers having 100 – 70 V transformers). The amplifier is Class D with switching power supply; the overall weight is extremely reduced plus it offers a wide audio bandwidth quality.

About Power Amplifiers at Sound Productions
Amplifiers do pretty much what they describe—they amplify. In the case of Power Amplifiers (sometimes called audio power amplifiers or power amps), they increase power availability to meet the needs of an electronic source. Power amplifiers increase low-powered audio signals, such as those from microphones, instruments, loudspeakers, or headphones. Choose from a variety of power amplifier models to meet specific wattage or channel configuration requirements for your particular project.
The uses for power amplifiers are highly versatile—they can be beneficial pretty much wherever you have a low-level audio signal that needs a boost. This includes sound reinforcement, live concerts, entertainment and special events, portable PA, home audio (theater, studio, office), or instrumental performances.
