Shure BLX14/B98 Wireless Instrument System

Great for brass or percussion instruments, the Shure BLX14/B98 Wireless Instrument System combines a simple setup and an intuitive interface for performance musicians can trust.

This system includes a BLX1 Bodypack Transmitter, a BLX4 Single-Channel Receiver, and a BETA®98H/C Instrument Microphone, as well as two batteries, a user guide, and a protective carrying case.

The BLX1 Bodypack Transmitter

The BLX1 easily clips onto a belt, pocket, or guitar strap for optimal placement. A TQG connection enables connection with lavalier, headset, earset, and instrument mics, as well as guitar cables.

The BLX4 Wireless Receiver

The BLX4 can expand to up to 12 mic channels, making it a great choice to start and grow your sound system. Setup is quick and easy with QuickScan frequency selection, which also provides improved linearity and frequency response. The microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity reduces dropouts, while built-in 1/4" and XLR outputs enable connection to PA systems and mixing boards.

The Beta98H/C

This mini mic easily and reliably clamps onto the bell of wind instruments or the rim of percussion instruments. A ratcheting swivel joint lets you secure it to your instrument with confidence. An integrated shockmount isolates the mic from the instrument’s vibrations for minimal handling noise.
