TASCAM DP-24SD 24-Track Digital Portastudio

The Tascam DP-24SD is a 24-track Digital Portastudio. Specifically designed to make your recording intuitive, it features solid-state recording, a color LCD, and channel strip controls to make recording simple so you stay creative.

Record up to 24 tracks without turning on a computer. Up to eight tracks can be recorded at a time through its combination XLR and ¼” (6.3mm) combo jacks. Input processing functions such as compression and limiting are available during recording, as well as guitar amp simulation and multi-effects for use with the instrument-level input.

Recorded tracks can be viewed on the large color display and mixed with dedicated mixing controls like nineteen linear faders and a dozen channel strip encoders. Two mixdown effects including reverb and chorus are also available, as well as a mastering effect. Up to 8 effects can be applied to each input for a dynamic result that enhances your audio recordings quality.

Use the included 4GB SD card to record songs and then transfer them to a computer via USB connection—this means you have even more options for further processing or sharing with other people. You can also swap the SD card out for an SDHC media card for up to 32GB of storage and approximately 50 hours of music.

The DP-24SD includes 8 XLR-TRS combo inputs that can handle multi-microphone recording with drums. It also boasts onboard guitar multi-effects, a tuner, and a metronome, helping enhance your recording’s professional sound and making it an ideal all-in-one recording tool. Additionally, the DP-24SD’s INPUT H is compatible with direct guitar inputs, making it possible to run via phantom power.
