The DR-07X allows high-quality stereo recording to MP3 or WAV formatting. It features a pair of unidirectional condenser mics that are sensitive enough to capture the most nuanced sound, but also hardy enough to handle up to 125dB SPL. These mics can be adjusted to A-B or X-Y configurations, giving you the choice between a wider stereo sound or a more focused and polished recording with less phase difference.

Use USB Audio Interface mode to connect the DR-X to a computer for studio-quality voiceover work, live streaming, podcasting, and songwriting. Take advantage of the Level Line function to smooth out sudden jumps in volume, while the DR-07X’s built-in speaker lets you instantly check your recordings. Fine-tune your vocal recordings with the Jump Back function, variable Speed function, and the equalizer preset. Or turn this recording device into a musical instrument practice tool by enacting the internal reverb effect to get the feel of performing in a spacious theater.

The DR-07X is run via 2 AA batteries for recording sessions of over 17.5 hours when recording with standard 2ch WAV, 44.1kHz/ 16bit format using alkaline batteries. Alternatively, you can power this device via a USB mobile battery (sold separately) for extended recording sessions.
