The MIP6 is a stereo to mono line converter and balancing device. Stereo inputs can be connected to the 3.5mm TRS jack or the left and right RCA jacks. The inputs are permanently summed to mono and balanced with a single 1:1 transformer. A single 3 pin screw terminal plug is provided for output connection. A Ground Lift switch breaks the ground connection between the inputs and the output screw terminal. Insertion loss is approximately 1.7 dB for summed inputs and 7.7 dB for a single mono source, measured into a 2 kOhm load.
