Yamaha DXL1K Portable Powered PA Speaker

The DXL1K from Yamaha is a portable powered PA speaker that packs tons of best-in-class features into a surprisingly compact unit.

This column-type speaker features a high-output 1100W amplifier module that powers a high-frequency array speaker system comprised of 10 small-diameter 1.5” drivers and a 12” subwoofer. The result is a system that produces sound pressure levels of up to 125 dB SPL (peak@1m).

Sporting a J-curve array configuration, the high-frequency unit offers an impressive 170° horizontal and 30° vertical coverage to deliver consistently clear, quality audio throughout a wide area.

A long, 10-driver array design projects uniform sound over longer distances. Additionally, the DXL1K incorporates Yamaha’s Twisted Flare Port™ technology, reducing port wind noise that can occur with compact bass-reflex subwoofers, maximizing low-end output, and producing deep, powerful, and distortion-free bass.

Powerful but Compact

Although it houses a 12” speaker unit—the largest in its class—the DLX1K’s compact cabinet design makes it the smallest sub of its size and power—ideal for applications on the go. Its ABS construction makes it lightweight enough to be easily carried, while the high-grade, scratch-resistant polyurea coating prevents wear and tear during transport and makes it a durable choice for harsh environments.

Scalable for When Your Needs Change

System expandability is available via DLX1K’s Link function, which allows it to be used with a compact mixer or the fully compatible STAGEPAS 1K mkII to craft a streamlined and effective PA system.

Simple Setup Straight Out of the Box

The DLX1K comes with all the components you need to set up your sound in mere minutes. Just affix the 2 spacers and speaker unit into the subwoofer and you’re done, with no cables, speaker stand, or additional gear necessary.

The DXL1K Portable Powered PA Speaker comes with a protective cover with storage pouches for the spacers, speaker array, and accessories. A dedicated carrying cart is sold separately.
