The EXi8 Analog Input Expansion Unit from Yamaha converts analog microphone/line audio into a digital signal and transmits that signal using Yamaha's YDIF format. The EXi8's preamps can be controlled remotely from an MTX processor via Ethernet cable. Boasting enormous installation flexibility--all packed into a low-profile chassis that takes up 1U of space--the EXi8 Expansion Unit supports the innovative "YDIF" digital audio transmission format.
Included with the EXi8 Analog Input Expansion Unit are a power cord and eight Euroblock plugs (3-pin, tabbed).
