The Yamaha PY64-D expands the Dante connection on the DM7 Series with sample rate converter (SRC) functions, ensuring straightforward connections for complex systems, including devices using different sample rates. By connecting the DM7 Series’ built-in Dante connectors and those on the PY64-D card to different Dante networks, the DM7 console can be used as a bridge between them, providing a secure option. It features 64 inputs and 64 outputs at 96 kHz with both synchronous and asynchronous SRC modes available. The SRC setting is available from the console, and the redundant connections are supported with primary and secondary connectors.
