The Yamaha Rio1608-D2 is not only a high-performance I/O rack unit, it supplies built-in Dante audio networking. Known for sonic transparency, the Rio1608-D2 plays a critical role in supporting the performance capabilities of the associated console, offers flexibility for placement and multi-unit combinations, and allows redundancy for high reliability. A standard component of the Rivage PM 7 digital mixing system, the Rio1608-D2 is also fully compatible with CL and QL series digital mixing consoles.
In place of basic LED indicators, the Rio1608-D2 has character/icon displays. You’ll know exactly what you’re looking at quickly and easily when it comes to metering, gain, high-pass filters, phantom power, and more.
Multiple consoles connected to one I/O rack can be unpredictable and undesirable when it comes to analog gain changes. A Gain Compensation function automatically adjusts gain at the digital stage to compensate for analog gain changes, sending sound to the network at a constant level.
