Yamaha’s extensive knowledge of IT and pro audio combine in the SWR2100P series of network switches. Optimized for networked audio installations, the simple L2 switch can take advantage of the Yamaha LAN Monitor application for comprehensive monitoring and control.
The SWR2100P-10G L2 switch is equipped with ten RJ45 ports. A maximum of 30 watts can be supplied from each PoE-compliant port (all ports 70W).
Several functions are supplied by the SWR2100P-10G. The simple L2 switch can supply power as well as audio and control signals to a PoE-compliant Dante device through one Ethernet cable. This is a great function for use with paging such as the PGM1 paging station microphone. Combine power supply and network wiring to reduce cabling and extend connection distance, giving even greater freedom and flexibility than Dante is typically known for.
Enjoy comprehensive monitoring: systems built around the SWR2100P-10G switch work with the Yamaha LAN Monitor application, which is known for comprehensive monitoring, PoE power status monitoring, and on/off switching capability.
Another benefit of the Yamaha LAN Monitor application is the complete network overview it offers. Understanding how multiple switches installed in different locations are connected and how network devices are connected to those switches can be challenging, but the application gives a clear and comprehensive overview. Just connect a computer to the nearest SWR2100P-10G switch and open the Yamaha LAN Monitor software. It's also easy to identify any connected device, no longer relying on the IP or MAC address. Connected devices are labeled by a Dante icon as well as a device ID (for example, “PGM1 Dante”).
The Snapshot function allows the software to keep track of settings and changes, alerting you if anything changes from the settings you snapshot as the network status when setup as required.
Another protective feature is the ability to automatically stop and resume PoE power supply when a fault has occurred. This is measured when the monitoring device does not respond to a Ping.
