The Ace Backstage BRK102BBX is designed for AV integrators and stage electricians who need a robust, code-compliant floor pocket body capable of handling both high and low voltage connections in a single enclosure. The welded 14-gauge steel construction and electrodeposited clear zinc finish deliver the structural integrity demanded by permanent installation environments, including theaters, houses of worship, convention centers, and broadcast studios.

This back box is the foundation of the Super Pocket System, a three-part modular assembly that separates rough-in, finish, and connectivity phases of construction — allowing each trade to work independently and on schedule. The built-in isolation bracket physically separates high and low voltage circuits within the same pocket, satisfying dual-application requirements without additional hardware. Panel brackets position CONNECTRIX panels so connector ends remain unobstructed and accessible after the finished floor is installed.

Combination knockouts on opposing sides accept conduit from ½" through 1¼" trade sizes, while single-position knockouts on remaining sides cover ½" and ¾" options — giving installers maximum routing flexibility regardless of slab orientation. The ½" predrilled mounting flange indexes directly with BZ132, BZ232, and BZ332 bezel and lid assemblies, ensuring precise alignment between the below-floor body and above-floor finish components.
