The ADJ Vizi Beam RX2 is built for lighting designers and production teams who need a high-output, small-footprint beam fixture that delivers dramatic aerial effects without occupying excessive rig space. Its 100W Osram Sirius HRI discharge lamp produces an intense, narrow beam suited to large stages, nightclubs, touring rigs, and installed entertainment venues where tight beams and fast movement define the look.
For live production environments, the RX2 provides the control flexibility that professionals demand. Onboard wireless DMX with Aria X2 compatibility eliminates cable runs in complex rigs, while 5-pin DMX In/Out sockets support traditional wired setups with data linking for up to 32 fixtures. Two selectable DMX channel modes, 16-bit fine resolution on pan, tilt, and focus, and RDM support give operators precise command over every parameter. OTA firmware updates via wireless keep the fixture current without physically accessing the unit.
Compared to single-prism beam fixtures in the same power class, the RX2 distinguishes itself with two independently rotating prism wheels — a 16-facet circular and a 4-facet linear — that can be overlaid for complex beam multiplication effects. A 14-color dichroic wheel with CTO, CTB, and UV filters, 15 static GOBOs including beam reducers, a frost filter for wash conversion, and motorized focus with 16-bit fine control extend the fixture's range well beyond pure beam work. Outdoor-rated locking power connections support daisy-chaining in both indoor and festival environments.
