The WMX318 is a control expansion for lighting designers, programmers and touring operators running a WMX1, WMX1 MK2 or WMX1 MK3. It pairs with the host console to form one integrated system, so you gain physical space for faders, groups and cue playback without changing how you program. That matters on festival stages, theater rigs, houses of worship and corporate events where one operator is covering fixtures, scenes and timing at once.
Compared with adding a laptop, a generic MIDI wing or a second console, this unit is built around the WOLFMIX platform, so you keep the familiar workflow and fixture library. Strip displays identify what each fader is doing, the backlit matrix keeps groups and cues within reach, and the surface can be remapped to match how your show runs. With no project loaded it can serve as a generic MIDI control device, and it mounts to standard VESA hardware for desks and custom control positions. Wolfmix users will recognize it as the ADJ version of the Wolfmix WING.
