With four bidirectional 3G-SDI BNCs, the Io X3 integrates directly into broadcast-grade signal chains alongside cameras, routers, and reference monitors. The HDMI port handles multiview output, allowing operators to monitor up to four channels simultaneously on a single display — a meaningful workflow advantage during multi-camera events. Support for PQ, HLG, HDR10, and Dolby Vision alongside VPID signaling ensures the device handles modern HDR pipelines without requiring external conversion.

Compatibility with OBS Studio, vMix, Telestream Wirecast, and all major NLE applications makes the Io X3 equally capable in file-based post and live streaming scenarios. The DB-25 analog audio port accommodates up to eight channels in or out via TASCAM pinout, while the headphone jack and level control provide local monitoring in mobile environments. AC adapter and battery power support via the 4-pin XLR input adds deployment flexibility for location-based production where mains power is intermittent.
