Designed for security and surveillance applications, the PZM11 offers consistent pickup anywhere around the mic. This is great to ensure that you’ll be heard even if you aren’t speaking directly in front of the microphone.

One common problem with a mic that offers such consistent pickup is that it can capture unwanted sounds. The PZM11 combats this with low-frequency roll-off: frequencies below the voice range are rolled off, reducing the pickup of noises from heating, ventilation, or air-conditioning rumble. In addition to cutting off those low-frequency noises, the speech you want the mic to hear is improved with a slightly boosted high-frequency response. The boosted high-frequency response helps with clarity and articulation.

The PZM11 has a mic-level output and the microphone itself runs on phantom power (12-48V). Electronics on the rear of the plate provide screw terminals so there is no need for connectors.
