The C411 from AKG is a miniature condenser microphone for capturing audio in tight places. It’s ideal for miking live sound situations for acoustic instruments including piano, guitar, mandolin, violin, and almost any other string instrument.

Capture your music without distortion or distraction. The ultralight vibration pickup (18g/0.6oz) of the C411 does not change the balance of the instrument, while an included adhesive pad can be used to effortlessly attach the mic on or near the bridge of the instrument without changing its balance—and also without marking up the instrument’s body or exposing its finish to harmful solvents. This mic’s classic matte black housing visually blends into virtually any environment.

Each component of this pre-polarized condenser transducer microphone has been strategically chosen to achieve the best possible performance. Its built-in condenser capsule expertly reproduces the sound of the instrument clearly and without coloration. A figure-of-eight (bidirectional) polar pattern evenly picks up audio from the front and rear of the mic while rejecting surrounding noise from its sides. Rounding out its specifications, the C411 has an audio frequency bandwidth of 10 - 18000 Hz, offers a sensitivity of 2 mV/Pa, and can handle sound pressure levels of up to 96 dB / 103 dB (for 1%/3% THD).
