The Alfatron Electronics ALF-12X-BC is a professional box-style camera built for fixed AV installations that demand high-resolution video, flexible signal routing, and reliable remote control. With a 1/2.8 inch HD CMOS sensor and 12X optical zoom, it delivers sharp 1080p60 imagery across a wide range of zoom positions, making it a practical fit for lecture capture, videoconferencing, tele-medicine, and corporate broadcast environments where repositioning a camera physically is not an option.
Simultaneous HDMI and 3G-SDI outputs give integrators real routing flexibility. The 3G-SDI connection supports 1080p60 runs up to 100 meters, covering large auditoriums, courtrooms, and multi-room campus deployments without signal conversion hardware. Dual H.265/H.264 compressed streams over the 100M IP port add network distribution for recording or streaming workflows. ONVIF and RTSP/RTMP support means the camera drops cleanly into most NVR and streaming encoder pipelines without custom configuration.
Control options include RS-485 serial with automatic VISCA, Pelco-D, and Pelco-P protocol recognition, as well as VISCA-over-IP for installations managed through a network controller. The 2D/3D DNR pipeline and a minimum illumination of 0.5 Lux keep video clean in the variable lighting conditions common to conference rooms and courtroom environments, reducing post-processing overhead for production teams who need broadcast-ready output directly from the camera.
