The Alfatron ALF-12X-SDICW is a professional Full HD PTZ camera built for installed AV environments including houses of worship, conference rooms, broadcast studios, and live event production. Its 12x optical zoom and 72.5-degree wide-angle field of view cover everything from wide establishing shots to tight close-ups without repositioning the camera or the operator. The updated AI tracking chip enables automatic subject following, reducing the need for dedicated camera operators during live services or presentations.
With simultaneous SDI, HDMI, USB3.0, and LAN outputs, this camera integrates directly into professional signal chains without format conversion. It supports ONVIF, RTSP, RTMP, and VISCA IP over the network, and accepts RS-232 and RS-485 serial control using VISCA, Pelco-D, and Pelco-P protocols, making it compatible with virtually every video switching and control ecosystem in professional AV. POE or 12V DC power options simplify installation, and 255 programmable presets give operators precise, repeatable shot recall. The camera ships with either a ceiling or wall mount bracket, fitting both new installs and retrofit deployments without additional hardware.
Where consumer webcams and entry-level PTZ cameras compromise on low-light sensitivity and control depth, the ALF-12X-SDICW pairs a 1/2.8-inch HD CMOS sensor with 2D and 3D DNR and a minimum illumination of 0.5 lux, delivering clean imagery in the mixed and difficult lighting conditions common to auditoriums, boardrooms, and stages. The white finish is suited to ceiling-mount installs where the camera should blend into the environment rather than draw attention.
