The Alfatron Electronics ALF-CVDAC is a compact digital-to-analog audio converter built for AV integrators and system designers who need to bridge modern digital audio sources with legacy analog destinations. It accepts TOSLINK optical or coaxial SPDIF input and simultaneously drives an RCA stereo pair, a 3.5mm stereo output, and a coaxial SPDIF output, making it practical for installs where a single source must feed multiple zones or mixed analog and digital equipment in the same signal chain.
The converter handles PCM and DTS encoded streams up to 24-bit/192kHz, with THD+N held below 0.05% and crosstalk isolation below -80dB across the full 20Hz-20kHz bandwidth. Those figures make it a reliable fit for conference rooms, classrooms, hospitality installs, and small studio environments where a clean analog feed is needed from a Blu-ray player, gaming console, computer, or AV receiver without introducing audible noise or distortion. The analog output stage delivers up to 2.0Vrms, providing adequate headroom above consumer line level for direct connection to self-powered speakers or analog amplifiers.
