The Alfatron Electronics 8x8 Audio Digital Signal Processor is built for AV integrators and systems engineers who need reliable, flexible signal processing in boardrooms, conference centers, houses of worship, and multi-room installed audio environments. With eight balanced mic/line inputs and eight balanced line outputs, this processor handles real-world mixing and routing demands at the channel count most fixed installations require.
At the core of the design are two ADI SHARC 21489 audio processors, delivering the headroom needed to run a full stack of processing simultaneously without compromise. The onboard module set covers acoustic echo cancellation, auto-mixing, noise suppression, feedback suppression, parametric and graphic EQ, compression, expansion, gating, ducking, ambient noise compensation, acoustic gain compensation, and delay. That depth of processing removes the need for external outboard gear in most install scenarios, reducing rack space and failure points.
Control flexibility makes this unit suitable for managed AV environments. RS-232, RS-485, and IP control ports allow integration with room automation systems, while eight GPIO connections support button panels, occupancy sensors, and other peripheral triggers. A software GUI provides straightforward setup and real-time adjustment without requiring third-party configuration tools. Available with or without Dante networking, this family scales from analog-only installs to networked audio infrastructure.
