The Alfatron Electronics ALF-IP6 is a flush-mount control keypad designed for AV integrators building permanent control systems in conference rooms, classrooms, hotel rooms, and boardrooms. Its TCP/IP programming port means the panel can be configured and managed over an existing network without requiring a dedicated control system infrastructure, reducing installation complexity in mid-scale installed AV projects.
Three RS232 outputs via 3-pin pluggable terminal blocks allow simultaneous serial control of displays, projectors, and other RS232-capable devices, while two IR outputs via 2-pin pluggable terminal blocks extend reach to equipment without serial ports. Running at 9600 baud with a fixed 8-N-1 protocol, the RS232 implementation is broadly compatible with the serial command sets used by leading display and AV equipment manufacturers. The US 1-gang form factor drops directly into standard electrical boxes, keeping finish work clean and consistent with existing room infrastructure.
With a maximum power draw of 1W from a 100-240VAC supply, the ALF-IP6 imposes virtually no load on room power circuits and operates reliably across the temperature ranges typical of occupied building environments. For integrators who need a simple, low-cost TCP/IP control node at the wall without deploying a full touchpanel or third-party control processor, the ALF-IP6 is a practical, space-efficient solution.
