The Alfatron Electronics ALF-IPCON-HDMI is a professional PTZ camera joystick controller built for broadcast studios, houses of worship, conference rooms, and live production environments where reliable, multi-camera control is essential. It supports simultaneous management of up to 255 cameras, with each camera independently assigned its own control protocol, giving operators the flexibility to run mixed camera ecosystems without compromise.
The controller bridges network and analog control in a single unit. Network protocols include Onvif, Visca over IP via UDP and TCP, Sony Visca, and NDI. Analog protocols cover Visca, Pelco-D, and Pelco-P. This breadth of protocol support makes the ALF-IPCON-HDMI a practical fit for facilities upgrading from legacy serial-controlled cameras while integrating newer IP and NDI-based systems. The built-in HDMI output delivers a real-time 1080P/30 camera preview directly to a monitor, eliminating the need for a separate video router during setup and operation.
A four-axis carbon film joystick enables precise pan, tilt, and zoom control simultaneously, with eight-speed levels for zoom and focus giving operators fine-grained command over shot composition. Web-based configuration via a PC connection allows administrators to import and export device settings, add or modify camera profiles, and perform firmware upgrades. PoE 802.3af support and a DC 12V input provide flexible power options for both permanent install and temporary production deployments.
