The ALF-TPBK70-R is an HDBaseT receiver built for AV integrators and production engineers who need reliable long-haul 4K signal distribution without dedicated fiber or complex infrastructure. It accepts both a local HDMI source and an incoming HDBaseT feed, automatically switching between them, making it practical for installed boardrooms, houses of worship, and live event staging where a local presenter and a remote source must share a single display.
At 18Gbps HDMI bandwidth with full HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 compliance, the unit handles the full modern signal chain including HDR10, 3D, and deep color at 1080P. The onboard analog audio de-embedder extracts audio to a Phoenix jack output, giving integrators a direct feed to DSP systems or amplifiers without an additional breakout device. RS-232 passthrough enables display control from a central control processor over the same CAT6 run, reducing cable pathways in permanent installations.
POE support allows the receiver to power a compatible transmitter over the same CAT6 cable, cutting power adapter count in ceiling or wall-mounted transmitter deployments. The combination of signal extension, control passthrough, and audio extraction in a single unit makes this receiver a practical choice over standalone extenders that require additional hardware to match the same feature set.
