The Alfatron Electronics ALF-TRUK100-RS is a complete transmitter and receiver kit built for AV integrators deploying BYOD-ready collaboration spaces, boardrooms, and classrooms. The Decora-style single-gang wall plate transmitter accepts HDMI 2.0 and USB-C sources and automatically selects the active input, while extending 4K video, USB 2.0, RS232, CEC, and Ethernet over a single HDBaseT 2.0 link to the included receiver unit up to 100m on CAT6 STP cable.
For integrators who need more than a simple extender, this kit delivers a full feature set in a single purchase. The USB-C port supports up to 100W Power Delivery, keeping a connected laptop charged without a separate power brick. De-embedded audio at the receiver provides both balanced analog and optical outputs for integration into installed sound systems. HDCP 2.2 management, a 16-entry built-in EDID library with DIP switch control, and RS232 pass-through cover the control and compatibility requirements of most corporate and higher-education installations without additional hardware.
The receiver adds a second HDMI input for local BYOD connection with its own auto-switch logic, and an Ethernet port shared by USB-C and USB-B gives networked laptops connectivity through the same cable run. Firmware updates are handled via RS232 or USB-A on the receiver, and 48V PoC powers the wall plate transmitter from the receiver side, simplifying AC requirements at the table end.
