Allen & Heath dLive DX32 Modular Expander

The ideal addition to any installed sound system, the dLive DX32 Modular Expander from Allen & Heath adds remote, modular I/O to a dLive, AHM-64, Avantis, or SQ system, giving you easy scalability to expand your connectivity to fit the size of the venue. The DX32 provides 4x8 channel slots for customizable inputs and outputs for any combination of analog or digital equipment.

The DX32 carries up to 32x32 channels of uncompressed audio (at 96kHz) and control data. It also features automatic firmware updates when the system powers up, making corrections to firmware mismatches if they are detected—and thus making your job that much easier.

Use a singled Cat5e cable to connect the expander to the dLive Surface, MixRack, SQ SLink port, Avantis SLink port, AHM-64 SLink port, or DX Hub via a secure etherCON port (all external equipment sold separately). Need redundancy for confident connection? Use a pair of cables to connect compatible dLive hardware (dLive S Class control surface or mix engine over Fast Ethernet) to the DX32’s two Ethercon ports.

The DX32 is a rack-mountable modular expander that is designed to be easily integrated into your installed sound system. For situations that benefit from portability, it also comes with plastic feet so you can place it on a shelf or floor without worrying that it will get banged up.

This expander’s power supply is modular, accepting AC mains voltages of 100~240V, 50/60 Hz, 300W max via an earthed 3-pin IEC male connector. A rocker switch near the mains inlet is built-in to help isolate connected mixers from the incoming mains supply.
