The Allen & Heath AH-SQ-5-PLUS is a compact digital mixer built for live sound, AV production, and installed audio environments that need advanced processing in a manageable footprint. Its 96kHz XCVI core supports 48 inputs to mix, while the compact surface provides 17 motorised faders, a 9" touchscreen, and assignable SoftKeys for fast operation during shows, services, and event work. For fixed systems, the chassis is also 19" rack mountable with the optional kit.

This model combines hands-on control with broad connectivity for modern workflows. A 128x128 Intelligent SLink port supports expansion across the Allen & Heath Everything I/O ecosystem, and the dedicated option card slot allows additional networking formats including Dante, Waves, MADI, and extra SLink. USB recording and playback support direct capture, multitrack production, livestreaming, and virtual soundcheck without forcing a one-size-fits-all setup.

The AH-SQ-5-PLUS is also suited to applications that need onboard mix tools beyond basic console processing. It includes 8 RackExtra FX engines and 4 RackUltra FX engines with dedicated send and return channels, plus DEEP Processing readiness. Advanced AMM capability, app-based remote control, and personal monitor mixing support make it a practical choice for conference systems, touring rigs, houses of worship, and multipurpose venues.
