The Allen & Heath AH-SQ-7-PLUS is a 48-channel digital mixer built for engineers who need extensive physical control without stepping up to a larger-format console. Designed for live sound, AV production, and installed systems, it combines 33 motorised faders, six channel strip layers, a 9" touchscreen, and assignable SoftKeys and SoftRotaries to keep navigation fast in high-pressure environments. Its 96kHz XCVI core supports low-latency operation and the mixer includes both RackExtra FX and four built-in RackUltra FX engines for expanded processing options.

For production workflows, the console supports multichannel recording, playback, livestreaming, and virtual soundcheck through its built-in USB audio interface, with 32x32 operation at 96kHz and 48kHz via USB-B. The integrated SQ-Drive enables direct USB recording and playback without requiring a computer, while remote control apps for Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android add flexibility for FOH, monitor mixing, and venue-wide adjustment.

The AH-SQ-7-PLUS also fits demanding system designs with 32 XLR mic/line inputs, 16 XLR outputs, stereo line inputs, AES3 stereo digital output, a 128x128 Intelligent SLink port, and an I/O expansion slot for optional Dante, Waves, MADI, or additional SLink connectivity. For conferences and broadcast-style applications, dual 24-channel Automatic Mic Mixers can operate independently or combine into a 48-channel AMM configuration.
