What separates the MB110D from passive or analog alternatives is its combination of local and remote control. The touch-sensitive user switch supports push-to-talk, push-to-mute, or toggle operation, and dual-color LED feedback gives presenters and operators an unambiguous read of mic state at a glance. Six-step input gain adjustment and a switchable 150 Hz low-cut filter let integrators dial in speech clarity at the source rather than relying entirely on downstream DSP. Key parameters including gain, phantom power, and LED status are all remotely addressable via Dante Controller and compatible microphone management software, making the base well suited for multi-position deployments where per-seat tuning from a central point is required.
Die-cast metal construction and integrated vibration-isolating pads keep the base stable on hard surfaces and resistant to low-frequency mechanical noise. The locking XLR microphone input prevents accidental disconnection in high-use environments, and the RJ-45 Dante output supports standard CAT5 or CAT6 cabling at 100 Mbps network speed.
