The AZM8-D is the central processing engine for multi-zone commercial audio installations, designed for spaces requiring independent zone control, messaging, and sound masking integration. Built around a powerful DSP core with Dante audio networking, it handles source mixing, zone routing, and audio processing without external processors. The unit accepts up to 14 audio sources and outputs to 8 independent zones, each with its own processing chain, while additional Dante outputs extend the system into larger networked environments.
Installation and control are simplified through accessory ports that daisy-chain up to 16 wall controllers, remote audio inputs, ambient noise sensors, and zone paging stations across distances up to 1000 feet. A progressive web app interface—accessible via QR code, direct URL, or built-in Wi-Fi—eliminates the need for separate control apps or vendor-specific software. Features include message playback, sound masking tools, room combining, auto-gain compensation, loud noise detection, and GPIO integration for alarm system triggers.
