The AtlasIED FAP42-TR is a new construction mudring designed for integrators and installation crews preparing ceiling cavities ahead of drywall closure. Unlike retrofit mudrings, this template installs first, giving drywall teams a clear cutout guide and protecting the intended speaker location from jobsite changes or errors.
Galvanized steel resists rust and corrosion in humid or exposed ceiling cavities, ensuring the ring remains secure and corrosion-free through construction phases. Universal mounting holes accommodate both 16" and 24" on-center stud and hat channel layouts, eliminating the need for multiple ring SKUs across different framing standards.
